Once again there is a subtle trace of wood that easily permits the cool, pure and markedly floral aromas of cassis, red cherry and earth aromas to be appreciated. There is excellent intensity to the highly energetic, even racy medium weight flavors that possess good size and weight while retaining a lovely refinement on the mineral-driven austere and serious finish. This is a classic example of the appellation.
